FAQs
-
Anyone aged 13-28 who wants to speak honestly about their experiences growing up online.
-
Nope. Stories are submitted anonymously. You can add your first name if you would like but we want you to feel completely safe sharing your truth.
-
Anything that reflects your real experience of being online - whether it is about body image, addiction, grooming, bullying, porn, loneliness, or just how it has made you feel. We also really want to hear your ideas for what needs to change.
-
Our team reads every story with care. We’re working to get yours published as soon as possible so it can help others - but we also want to do it properly. That means making sure it is anonymous and safe to share.
Once reviewed, it will be published on our website and it will help shape our youth-led manifesto for change. If you have consented to this, it may appear anonymously on our social media to help others feel less alone.
-
Yes - anytime. Just contact us with a few details to help us identify your story (date of submission, content), and we’ll remove it immediately. No questions asked.
-
We’re not a reporting service, and we do not collect personal data. However, if you include clear identifying details and describe ongoing abuse, we may pass it on to a safeguarding expert to make sure you are safe. Otherwise, your story stays anonymous. Please read our safeguarding policy for more information.
-
No. We’re a platform for sharing experiences and ideas, not a crisis service. We do link to specialist organisations who can help you on our Get Help page.
-
Your story could be the reason someone else feels less alone or less ashamed of what they’ve been through. By sharing real experiences and ideas for change, you’re helping build a youth-led manifesto that will be taken to government, regulators, and tech companies - so that future solutions actually reflect what growing up online is really like.
